A Leap of Faith

What other things give you a better rush of blood than jumping off a plane from the height of 4200 meters?
Wanted to re-live those few minutes again

Time -15 min: I was late for the takeoff so had to take the last seat, was told that I would be the first one to jump

Time -60 sec: Altitude +3500 meters, the guide tells me to buckle up

Time - 30 sec: suddenly my brain goes dizzy, can't feel anything maybe it’s the low pressure at high altitude

Time -10 sec: have reached 4200 meters, get a hang of my brain

Time -5 sec: I review the instructions once again, the 90 degree, the chair bend and the banana position right before the jump.

Time -4 sec: The airplane’s shutter opens! Cold air gushes in

Time -3 sec: I'm still reviewing the instructions and the 3 crew members in front of me vanish from the plane!
No chair, no banana and no 90 degrees, yes the moment would be here anytime for me too

Time -2 sec: I move to the edge, and the revelation finally dawns upon me. I would actually be jumping out of the plane, or maybe just thown out !!! jettison!!!

Time -1 sec: I am sitting on the edge with the legs hanging out.

Time 0 sec: IT WAS THE MOMENT! A FREE FALL from 4200 meters

No control, no thoughts, no senses, only gravity and the gush of cold air. I was falling again, and then the parachute – the experience was transcendental.

This was a different high, a different feeling, it was magical.
